We would like to send a big thank you to everyone who supported our fundraiser for Matt Ewing and Larry Stacy. Thanks to the generosity of so many people we were able to raise over $5000 for two great members.
On Behalf of Powder Creek, thank you.

CZ-USA’s Family Fun Day at Powder Creek Shooting Park on Sunday September 18th, 2011 has attracted 350+ people, some of them have never fired shotgun before. CZ-USA’s “try me” station with wide selection of CZ shotguns was busy since the opening hours, at one time the waiting time to shoot was close to 20 minutes. The Powdercreek Cowboys put together two demonstrations about the Cowboy Action Shooting and it sure looked like it is the late 1800′s again.
Mr. Tom Knapp, the Shooting Star himself opened his exhibition at 3pm and he won the hearts of all the spectators with an amazing show.
We now have archery targets are set-up at 20, 25, 30 and 40 yards. Archery targets available to members only for $3.00 per day. non-member cost is $5.00.
Powder Creek offers following shotgun disciplines:
We have four Trap fields. All trap fields are lighted for evening and night-time use. Singles, doubles and handicap targets are thrown to ATA standards. ATA Registered Shoots are held throughout the year. Spring, summer, and fall Trap Leagues are conducted with league shooting generally occurring on Thursday evenings.
We have three Skeet fields, all of which are lighted. NSSA Registered Shoots are held throughout the year. For more details about our skeet registered shoots and Powder Creek Skeet Leagues visit Skeet section of our website.
Powder Creek Shooting Park offers a scenic 12 station Sporting Clays course featuring a wide variety of specialty targets. Powder Creek utilizes all electric machines which allows for a multitude of presentations and eliminates the need for a trapper. The graveled trail through the woods around the Sporting Clays Course is sheltered from wind and sun. The course is changed on a regular basis. We hold NSCA registered shoots, sporting clays leagues, fun shoots corporate events during the year.
Additional shooting fields include 5-Stand.
